AFTERSCHOOL CLUB
The afterschool club is opened from 3.30 to 6.30 pm during term time.
The club currently caters for children from Fairlop Primary, John Bramston Primary in Redbridge.
Limes Farm and Chigwell Academy which are based in Epping Forest. All the children are collected from their various schools by Little Acorns staff and escorted to the setting.
We provide various healthy snacks for the children such as tuna pasta, tortilla wraps, pita bread filled with veggie/tuna, beans on toast,(menu chart is displayed on our notice board). The children are encouraged to eat healthily. No sweets or sugary juices allowed. If you wish to send your child in with own snack/food, it is absolutely fine to do so.
ACTIVITIES
House Groups
There is a House group system in operation at Little Acorns. Children are placed in one of the groups on joining the club and all children are advised to bring a pair of plimsolls with them to use on the premises.
Activities available during the afterschool club include different board games, art & craft, cookery, sporting activities weather permitting at the Jack Carter Centre in Barkingside.
