The Preschool

The Preschool currently caters for children from 2 – 4 years old. The preschool starts from 9.15 am to 3.30 pm with options available for parents to choose from.

In addition to fee paying places, the setting has places available for 2, 3 and 4 year old funded children.

 

Funded places for 2 year olds

Information on how to apply for funded places can be obtained from the setting.

 

Funded places for 3-4 Year Olds

From September 2010 all 3 and 4 year olds in England get 570 hours of funded early years education or childcare per year.

​

This is usually taken as 15 hours per week for 38 weeks of the year during school term time.

Parents can start claiming free childcare for their children in the term following their third birthday.

Parents are advised to contact the setting to register their children before their third birthday.

 

30 Hour Funding 

The government announced plans to introduce 30 hours funding for 3-4 year olds starts in 2017.
